Why We Do This
In today's world, rates of childhood depression and anxiety are rising. Families feel more isolated, and kids are often glued to screens, bombarded with negative messages.
CCA exists to counter these trends – offering sports, camps, and family-friendly events that give kids a chance to be active, grow in their faith, and build real relationships in a nurturing community.
Since our founding, we've helped thousands of athletes and families grow in mind, body, and spirit through programs built on Christian values: integrity, humility, perseverance, and care for every person.

Faith
Christ-centered coaching at every practice and game. Our coaches model what it looks like to compete with humility, lead with integrity, and point kids toward something greater than a scoreboard.

Perseverance, integrity, and teamwork that lasts a lifetime. The skills kids build here go far beyond the gym – they carry them into school, friendships, and everything else life brings.

Paul Podraza
CEO & Founder, Celebration Community Athletics
Paul has been part of the Celebration community for over 8 years, running sports leagues in town since 2017. His passion is creating great environments where people grow together – and come to know Jesus Christ on a deeper level. Under his leadership, CCA has grown from a single Upward Sports outreach into a multi-sport organization serving hundreds of families across Central Florida.

Community+Athletics (C+A)
CCA is owned and operated by C+A – a non-profit that helps organizations point people to Jesus through community and sports. Their aim is to equip, encourage, and engage churches and missionaries around the world to reach into their communities with the gospel.

CCA grew from the outreach of Upward Sports at Celebration Community Church. Each season brought increased growth and excitement – so CCA was launched to expand the reach, adding more sports and community opportunities for youth and adults across the region.
